When No Fee Overdraft is turned on, any transaction made with your Varo Visa® Debit Card can overdraw your Varo Bank Account up to the overdraft limit of $50.
The following transactions can NOT be used to overdraw your Varo Bank Account:
- ACH debits
- Transfers to external accounts via ACH
- Mail a check payments
So, if you have a balance of $5 and try to transfer $20 from your Varo Bank Account to an external account via ACH when you’re eligible for No Fee Overdraft and the feature is turned on, the $20 transfer will be declined with no fee and your transfer will not be completed. You can still use No Fee Overdraft for purchases and cash withdrawals made with the Varo Visa® Debit Card up to the overdraft limit of $50.
