Android user? External transfers from within the app aren’t quite ready in Varo for Android. Worry not—we’re working on it now! In the meantime, you’re better off making transfers by linking Varo through your external bank’s site.
First off, your Varo debit card must be activated to transfer money from your Varo Account to another checking or savings account.
Transferring money to an external account takes 1–2 days. Here’s what to do:
- Link the external account to your Varo Bank Account and verify it’s yours. Here's help with linking an account.
- Once the external account is linked, open the Varo app and tap Move Money > Transfer Money.
- Select From: Varo Bank Account and To: the account you want to receive the transfer. Find the limit for the transfer under the transfer amount.
Transfers to checking or savings accounts are limited to no more than $5,000 per calendar day, $10,000 per seven consecutive calendar days, and $10,000 per calendar month.
