Account linking is a service Varo offers to allow you view information from your external checking, savings, credit card and loan accounts in the Varo Mobile App. This allows you to get a full view of your money all in one place.
To link an account, go to Accounts and tap on the ‘+’. Tap one of our quick link icons or search for your bank by name, and then provide the username and password you use to log into your bank’s website. Some banks may send you a one time password via text or email, so if that is required, please enter that also. It may take a few minutes for linking and verification to complete.
You can also transfer money from your linked external bank accounts to your Varo Bank Account. Varo makes it easy for you by instantly verifying accounts with banks who share this information with us. If this is the case, your linked bank account will show as Verified.
Some accounts require additional verification. If this is the case, your linked bank account will show as Unverified.
In four easy steps, Varo will help you verify your account:
- Go to Move Money>Transfer Money>New Transfer>From>Select an account
- Tap the account marked Unverified.
- Enter that bank’s Routing Number and your Account Number with that bank.
- We’ll send two small deposits to your bank; come back to the Varo app in 3 business days to enter them.
